The brand identity development for Balanced Body Labs was initiated by Chatter Buzz—a marketing and communications agency based in Orlando, Florida—who contracted with me and Brand Consultant Ken DeGilio to develop the identity for this startup health and wellbeing measurement company.
Research
Research conducted for this client included client interviews and learning market trends through competitive review and target audience interviews. This was followed by the development of audience personas, SWOT analysis, and a brand workshop used to determine the brand foundations, value proposition, and brand attributes.
Voice & Tone
This led to the discovery of the brand name, brand story, messaging guidelines, tagline, and other voice & tone considerations for the brand personality.
Look & Feel
Following voice & tone development, we began work on the look & feel for the brand, determining the typographical considerations, color palette, and texture.
Logo
Finally, the brand logo was ideated, refined, and finalized across two lockups with options for primary and secondary color palette application as needed.
Once final client approval was received, this process was finalized by packaging brand guidelines and assets, then handed off to Chatter Buzz for website development and brand rollout.
